This week it’s Hands of Hope in Peasmarsh.
That’s a wrap for another year at the Peasmarsh lunch club, ending with a Christmas lunch and entertainment at Flackley Ash hotel on 1 December.
Each first Monday of the month, the Hands of Hope Charity runs a vibrant community lunch club in the Peasmarsh village hall. With 60 members joining each month, you can appreciate it’s a lot of preparing, cooking, serving food, washing up and clearing away, so we are looking for more hands to help our team of friendly volunteers. Without their help we could not run the club and it is greatly appreciated.

Hands of Hope Charity prides itself on providing a warm meal and a social outlet for community members to help combat loneliness and spread some joy. There are lots of smiles, dancing and joy, and it is heart-warming to see.
As with many charities, volunteers are an essential in keeping things running smoothly. We are looking to grow our team, so if you can spare some time once a month to be a “hand of hope”, please contact Sosi via email sosi.kaskanian@hohcharity.co.uk
