The Bird & Blend shop on Rye High Street has been organising networking events for local businesses – the next takes place in July.
Fran Parker is the manager of the Rye store which opened last year. “We’ve recently hosted two SustainabiliTEA Meet Ups in-store which have quickly become something I’m really passionate about. These events are a wonderful way to bring together like-minded people and local businesses, introducing new faces to our brand while creating space for meaningful conversations, networking and mutual support. I especially love meeting new people, hearing their stories, and building connections within the community.”
The events are also focussed on being eco-conscious and ethical living.
The national brand creates a unique tea for each of its locations. In Rye that means Sussex Sea Swims, a white tea blend with proceeds going to the Sussex Wildlife Trust.
