Saturday 16 May saw the second swap shop of the year at the Tilling Green Community Centre.

This was the first event at which we allowed small electrical items, provided they passed a PAT test first, then they were able to be put on the tables to be taken away. Some of the electrical items brought in were an electric fan, toaster and a printer all of which were swiftly snapped up.

Items left at the end were split between recycling, charity shop, landfill and any remaining clothes and toys were donated to Ukraine.

Here are the results:
95 people attended the morning
360kg was taken by people
130kg went to charity shops
26kg was recycled
40kg went to landfill
556kg TOTAL

The date of the next swap shop will be Saturday 5th September
