New acoustic music club opens

Kicking-off on Friday 18th March, ‘Music Brewing’ comes to The Brewery Yard Club in Rye.  The new acoustic music club is the brainchild of Lloyd Guyenette, whose vision surpasses the usual pub open mic format. Lloyd draws his inspiration from the long established and well respected ‘Lantern Society’, that sadly has moved away from nearby Hastings, where class music acts were guaranteed.

The club will be held on the third Friday of the month. Join us for a fantastic night of curated live music by local artists, with a mix of genres and genders who have been invited to create an eclectic experience for both the performers and the audience.

For artists, it’s an opportunity to move among both new and seasoned artists on and off the circuit; to showcase their skills in a quality venue, get inspiration and make meaningful connections. Acts can expect great acoustics and a structured, quality ‘plug and play’ experience.

For the audience it’s a chance to support local music’s return after the pandemic in a very special venue. Expect excellent cocktails and a cool club vibe that lets you know you are in the right place for a great evening of entertainment.

Music from 8pm.  Please arrive in good time to find your seat.  Free entry.
