Bus services affected

Rye’s Community Bus service has been suspended during the coronavirus lockdown as many of its regular passengers will have been told to stay at home because of their age and health.

However, that has meant the service has not had to cope with the roadworks in Military Road or at Bridge Place (featured in the photo above).

The roadworks have also affected the 313 service from Rye Harbour to Northiam and the 312 from Rye to Tenterden, but services have already been reduced because of the pandemic. You can ring 0871 200 233 to discover what services are actually running.

Buses to Hastings and Dover appear to be running fairly regularly, but have faced some cut backs.
