“Fixtures” goes online

Your regular monthly copy of Fixtures (above) for the month of April (and the 937th edition – which adds up to a lot of years) has not been delivered because Adams could not guarantee the safety of delivery staff, but you can download it from the website,

A large number of regular and routine events inside have been cancelled or postponed, and more probably have been since the edition was assembled, but it is still a mine of local information and, as usual, includes some recent stories that have appeared in Rye News.

These include features on former Rye mayor and popular author EF Benson, a new beer being brewing up at the Waterworks, why a national path is going to miss out Rye, and details of Rye Mutual Aid – who also have a couple of adverts about help available in Rye and the surrounding area while the pandemic continues.

Only war has stopped Fixtures before, and you can still see it all on your computer or mobile phone.
