Good sale for guides

The 2nd Rye and 1st Peasmarsh Guides held their Table Sale on Saturday February 11 at the Scout Centre, which is located next door to the Leisure Centre.

In spite of the awful weather, the Centre was warm and welcoming, with a good variety of tables laid out and some delicious looking cakes and tea. The 18-strong Peasmarsh Brownies had made fudge, coconut ice and other goodies, there was a children’s toys and clothing table, and a well-filled jewellery display manned by one of the Guides, among a number of others.

Congratulations to all involved and to those battling through the sleet and freezing winds to man tables and support the event.
