MLAG announces its AGM

MarshLink Action Group (MLAG) will hold its delayed annual general meeting on Friday, November 18 at Rye Town Hall. The formal AGM will start at 6:45pm and will be followed at 7pm by presentations from:

  • Sally-Ann Hart MP
  • Southern Railways represented by Phil Hutchinson (Head of strategic planning, GTR) and James Harris (service development manager, Southern & Gatwick Express)
  • Network Rail represented by Dave Bonner (infrastructure maintenance delivery manager)

MLAG campaigns to improve the rail operations of the Ashford to Hastings line and beyond. Membership of MLAG costs £3 per year. We would be grateful for your contribution to MLAG by payment at the door or by standing order available at https://www.mlag.org.uk/application-form/.

  1. May be if we still had more peak trains that Rye commuters could use and that run on time it may be worth going to. I am not going to pay £3 to listen to my mp as I know who I am voting for based on last 12 years.
