Thanks to funding from Little Cheyne Court Wind Farm a new service is up and running for all residents of Eastern Rother and provided by Hastings Advice and Representation Centre (HARC).

Private weekly consultations are now available in Rye for anyone with queries or problems relating to welfare benefits, debts, budgeting and housing and, if you or anyone living in Eastern Rother would like advice or help negotiating any of the online benefit portals, such as Universal Credit, an expert is available to speak to you each week on Wednesdays between 1pm and 3pm.

This service includes benefit checks to see if further entitlement is available, help with claim forms and help with representation for benefit appeals.  Additionally for problems with utility debts, budgeting and housing, professional advice and onward referral is available.

In the first instance you must telephone to make an appointment please call 07526 349847.  This confidential service is provided in the Baptist Church Hall, behind the Baptist Church Cinque Ports Street Rye.
