Rye’s new overseas signing Hugo Nel, a qualified coach, will be a part of the Rye Cricket Club’s  (CC) Summer Coaching Programme.

He will be coaching on Friday nights with the Colts Section and supporting the five Colts teams run by the Salts based Club.

Colts Manager Martin Blincow said: “The recent success of Rye CC, and the long term future of the club is dependent on growing our own cricketers, so the coaching skills and the inspiration of meeting cricketers from other countries is invaluable.”
