A ’60s party will be held at the Milligan Theatre, Rye College, on Saturday February 13 in aid of the Rye, Winchelsea and District Memorial Hospital.
Compered by Reg Marchant, leader of the locally renowned “Rockshack” party band and, latterly, with other well-known Rye songsters, the Sturdy Beggars, there will be live music, a Lindy Hop demo (the 1930s street jazz dance), a licensed bar and a fish and chip supper all included in the price of the £15 ticket.
The organisers acknowledge sponsorship by the Rye Academy Trust.
