Van driver ‘threatened’

Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident in Harbour Road, Rye in which three motorcyclists allegedly threatened the driver of an Asda delivery van. The incident on Saturday July 5 occurred on the Rye Harbour side of the sluice gate, just south of the road’s junction with the A259 Winchelsea Road, at about 12.30pm. Three motorcyclists have been interviewed by police but witnesses are still being sought. Anyone with information is asked to phone Sussex Police on 101 or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk, quoting serial 718 of 5/7.
