A sponsored walk for wounded veterans organised byAndrew Seymour, who served in the RAF, took place at Rye Harbour on Saturday March 19. It was supported by RAF Military Police working dogs and their handlers.
Supporting the fundraising, for the charities “Combat Stress” and “Walking with the wounded”, was Maria Fisher, wife of Matt Fisher who took part in Walking with the Wounded Walk of Britain, 1,000 miles around Britain, last August.
Also present was Huw Merriman, MP for Bexhill and Battle constituency, completing the walk on crutches having ruptured his Achilles tendon in non combat operations. The other people in the photo were supporters and organisers.
