What has become a fixture in Rye’s social calendar, saw Lesley Farrow of Niche hold her latest fashion show at Rye Town Hall.
In front of a packed audience, Lesley’s models showed off clothes from several European countries, with an emphasis on sustainable fabrics and up-to-the-minute design.
Lesley said: ” It’s incredibly hard work for my girls and me to arrange and run the show each year. But raising several hundred pounds for local charities makes it all worthwhile. All the amateur models give their time for free and the mayor kindly lets us hold the show in the town hall. Tickets were sold out well in advance and sadly we had to turn people away. One friend joked that perhaps we should hire the White Rock Theatre next year!”
With everyone enjoying a complimentary glass of prosecco an added attraction this year was Reg Marchant playing his guitar and singing in the interval, with the audience singing along.

A raffle featured £100 vouchers to spend at Niche. The show has gone from strength to strength and this year’s was the most successful so far, raising an incredible over £900 each for Rye Community Transport and Rye Foodbank.
Lesley thanks everyone involved and all who came to the show.
