What are your experiences of health and social care in and around Rye?
Healthwatch East Sussex has been visiting Rye this month on their 2023 ‘Listening Tour’ but if you’ve missed them at the Rye Festival of the Sea and Land or at Rye Hospital maternity and ultrasound clinic, Rye Harbour Nature Reserve or Rye Market, then don’t worry.
You still have the opportunity to have your say at the Co-Op on Winchelsea Road today, Friday, September 15 from 10am – 2pm or at Rye station next Monday, September 18 betweenĀ 10am and 1pm. If Camber is more convenient for you why not go to Camber Memorial Hall for the tea and care drop-in next Friday, September 22 between 11am and 2pm?
They want to hear from you to improve health and social care services in Rye and the surrounding villages.
Their 2023 āListening Tourā will capture feedback and experiences of health and care services, from residents living in Rye and the surrounding villages.
Using the feedback received they will:
- Share what they hear with health and care commissioners and the local authority
- Make recommendations to local service providers to support positive change.
- Champion the view and experiences of local people
- Hold decision makers to account
Complete their survey https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/RyeLT2023/ to share your views and experiencesĀ or come and visit them during the tour. Please share their survey with your networks to help them hear from as many people as possible and if your are a local community group or service provider and would like to be involved with the listening tour, please contact Riona Doidge, volunteer and engagement manager:
