The Music Well CIC is holding its AGM on Tuesday November 8 at 6pm. at the Kino cinema in Lion Street. This is to enable a showing of their short film showing some of their activity providing music to support wellbeing and health, including their recent Lottery funded project using iPads for people with dementia.  This project is now finished but the Music Well is looking at ways to continue the helpful support that Ipads can provide.

The AGM will also introduce the latest project, funded by the Hastings and Rother Commissioning Group to provide singing for Better Breathing groups.  These will begin in the new year and are open to all, particularly those with any sort of breathing difficulty such as bronchitis, COPD (Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), asthma etc.

To hear more about the Music Well and its projects and the ways in which it might be able to support health and wellbeing, please come to the AGM and watch the short film.

[Editor’s note: The Music Well Community Interest Company is, to quote their website, “a community WELL of musical resources to support wellbeing and health”. It provides music therapy, drum circles, singing groups and other musical activities.]
