Although the 2015 cricket season is now fading into the memory, the last week has seen Rye receive Awards for the 2015 season. The Under 13 team was presented with the Ashford & District League Under 13 League Title. The team had a 100% record and, looking forward to 2016, all but four of the 16 strong squad will be available to defend their title next year.

At the Sussex County League Awards Dinner, the Club picked up two Awards. Peter Thomson was awarded the batting Award for Division 3 East, having scored 515 runs. The Club was also awarded the Most Improved Wicket Award. The club had invested in a roller, and spent additional time on the square after discussions with Rother. The main factor was the work of Jackie Clifton, mother of Rye 1st Xl player Ben Clifton. A big thank you to Jackie and congratulations on the well deserved recognition.
