Skydives to thank air rescue teams
A Peasmarsh woman and her young niece are both to jump from an aircraft at 12,000ft in a sponsored skydive for the Kent, Sussex and Surrey Air Ambulance. In a bizarre twist of fate the two women and two other members of the same family have all been rescued by the charity in three separate incidents. Bus cuts start this Sunday
The bus subsidy axe falls this Sunday. The immediate effect: no Sunday services to Northiam and Rye Harbour. To be followed by the halving of weekday off-peak services from Rye to Northiam and Tenterden. There is another snag facing passengers: printed timetables aren't on the streets yet.
