This year will be the 19th year of the Sussex Heritage Trust Awards which are designed to recognise and reward high-quality conservation, restoration and good design of newly built projects as well as encouraging the use of traditional skills and crafts across the counties of East and West Sussex.
A wide variety of projects have received awards ranging from country-house conversions to luxury apartments; restored churches’ towers and spires, barns and outbuildings saved from dereliction, and high-quality craftsmanship using traditional materials – and there are nine categories of entry in all.
