Cheryl lives with her partner Harry in Rye, where she is a Town Councillor and currently Vice Chair of the Council’s Planning Committee, as well as a member of the Rye Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group (RNP), Human Resources and Heritage Centre Options Working Groups.
Cheryl says “I have lived in the area with my family for the past thirty plus years, the recent twenty years here in Rye, where both my children went and grandchildren go to the local school. Over the past four years I have learnt a great deal about the governance of the Town Council and our community during my service as a Councillor. The Council staff work tirelessly for the benefit of Rye and I have had the honor to work with many individuals and local enterprises in my capacity as a Town Councillor and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I wish to continue to serve my community to the best of my ability and would use the opportunity to continue to represent, promote and protect the interests of the residents of Rye.”
