Party description: Conservative Party candidate
I am a local girl from a long-standing farming family, hoping to be able to work for your best interests by being elected to represent Eastern Rother. I live with my husband and our pet Labrador, and work in education. I am actively involved in the local community as a member of Icklesham Parish Council where I have served on three committees.
Your current councillor for Eastern Rother, Sally-Ann Hart will be stepping down as she has been elected as the MP for Hastings and Rye in the recent general election. I am honoured to have been selected as your new Conservative candidate. I look forward to the chance to work alongside experienced Ward Councillor Paul Osbourne to drive forward improvements in the Ward and to help do our bit to get the country back on its feet following the devastation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. We are ambitious for our Ward, our District and for the people who live and work here. All our hard work is designed to improve services and secure a better quality of life for everyone who lives, works and visits Rother District Council.
Having grown up here, I have a huge regard for this area, its people and the countryside as a whole. I will work hard to ensure that our beautiful ward remains clean, safe and protected, whilst balancing the need to address housing and homelessness. Our countryside is precious. Being born and raised here helps me understand how important it is for it to remain that way.
I am very grateful to all the residents of Eastern Rother who have contacted me during my campaign so far. Please do feel free get in touch via the channels below:

Good afternoon,
I see that you are going to be on the panel for animal welfare at the Conservative meeting at Gatwick this coming Saturday.
Can i ask you if you support hunting as i am concerned to see that a member of the Countryside Alliance is already on the panel and their views are well know and objected to by those concerned with protecting all animals and the environment.
Many thanks
Dr Christina Nellist, FOCAE, Board member of Animal Interfaith Alliance, Editor and Author.
