The 2nds steadily batted in response as openers Ben Clifton 77 and Mark Cook 44 shared a 137 run partnership. Though they were both dismissed in consecutive overs and Rye lost another cheap wicket, victory was secured in the 36th over by 7 wickets. The seconds sit 4th in Division 7 East, just 4 points behind leaders Iden. This Saturday they travel to Brighton to play St Peters 3rds.
