The film cameras are back…

Thursday June 11: Church Square, Rye. Take One: Narrare film crew hard at work, 25 cast and crew. Fictional settingĀ for “The Last Lighthouse Keeper”. About only privately-owned lighthouse in Britain at Happisburgh, Norfolk (pronounced Hazeboro’), decommissioned and bought by local community 25 years ago. One day shoot. Not quite up to BBC and “Mapp and Lucia” standards for traffic management it seems. Road apparently blocked. Pedestrian (in background) squeezes through. Not much of historic Rye actually going on film at this point. Typical film set scene. Everyone waiting for next bit of “action”. Cut.
