Rye’s James Miller performed on Saturday May 24 on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’. He got through to the final three which was a great result. Many people supported him throughout his journey and the remarks on social media were really encouraging. We haven’t seen the last of James Miller by any means.

Emma Burnett, who owns Mad Fish Performing Arts where James trains, said, “WOW… what can we say, James? Watching you on BGT was truly magical. You absolutely blew us away, not just with your incredible singing, but with your bright, shining spirit.”

She described the twelve year old as having a bucket full of talent, maturity, bravery and kindness. “What stands out most is how hard-working and humble you are. In a world that can sometimes feel hard and cruel, you are such a beautiful light. Never lose that. The way you make people feel when you perform is something really special, and we have no doubt this is only the beginning for you. Keep shining, James, the world needs more people like you!”

“Thank you to everyone for supporting James and showing him how much we all adore him.”

James’s mum wrote,”We are incredibly proud of James and how amazingly he did last weekend. The best part was watching how his confidence has grown since his first audition and he just shone on that stage. He loved every minute and it just reinforced that this is what he wants to do for the rest of his life.

“We are overwhelmed by the support and love that James has been shown, everyone came together and we really appreciate every single vote, positive comment and all of your likes and shares. Thank you to everyone in the community and beyond.”
