The Hospital fete on June 11 went with a swing as visitors enjoyed the many attractions. We were delighted that the Mayor of Rye, Jonathan Breeds and Mayor and Mayoress of Winchelsea John and Ann Spencer were able to attend our community event.

Visitors to the fete enjoyed browsing the many art and craft stalls, while children made their very own royal crowns to celebrate the Queen’s birthday. Tenterden Swing performed a lively Lindy Hop demonstration and the crowds were entertained by local duo Sturdy Beggers. Barry Nealon, Chairman of the Hospital said “ It was a day full of wonderful community spirit and support for the hospital.”
