The town’s favourite festival returns in a little over two months on Sunday, September 11. Yes, the Festival of the Sea is back after an enforced two year break and promises to be better than ever.
The centrepiece is the raft race, this year at 12:45pm, but there will also be lots happening on the Salts both before and after the race. Alongside the legendary raft race there is the adrenaline-fuelled tug of war and our festival market.

There will be live music throughout the day, Captain Pugwash readings from the town crier and so much more.
