Tickets for the 2023 Rye Arts Festival are on sale now. The 52nd annual festival will run from 15 to 30 September, with a packed fortnight of events from across the wide world arts.

You can choose from classical and folk music, blues and tango; drama; films; authors and speakers; historical walks and coach tours; exhibitions; and free street entertainment on the opening Sunday.

Over 50 events showcase the best of national, international and local talent, all on your doorstep. Highlights include the author Michael Rosen; his blues buddy Errol Linton; a special screening of King Kong and a selection of walks and coach tours by the Rye Town Crier, Paul Goring. But that’s just for starters!

In coming weeks we will be providing previews of what’s in store in the packed programme, but for more information on these and other events at the 2023 Rye Arts Festival and to book your tickets go to www.ryeartsfestival.org.uk.

  1. Yes, and don’t forget, I Am No Good At Love, a musical revue, based on a poem by Noel Coward, with Martin Wimbush, Sally Bayly, Nuri Koseuglo and Malcolm Newton. We’re on at the Community Centre, 30 September and 1 October.
