Rye Harbour RNLI lifeboat station will be holding its annual open day on July 22 between 10am and 2pm. Everyone is invited so why not come along?
The new Rye Harbour inshore lifeboat, Hello Herbie II, will be joined by the Dungeness all-weather lifeboat, The Morrell. You will be able to enjoy demonstrations of rescue techniques in the river by the volunteer crew from Rye Harbour and have the opportunity to get on board the Dungeness RNLI Shannon Class lifeboat.

There will be plenty of fun for all the family with the Cinque Ports Morris Men, a bouncy castle, tarot readings, face-painting, tombola, raffle, cakes and refreshments and much more!

Bring your children along to see our new lifeboat and learn how to Stay SAFE by the water.

The Royal National Lifeboat Institution shop will be open to provide a range of gifts, clothing and toys as a memento of your day.

It only happens once a year so make the effort to visit us. You will be very welcome.

Funded by the generous donations of the public, we are the charity that has been saving lives at sea for 193 years.
