So where did it all go right?

We had a great show last Saturday night at the Community Centre, with my show So, Where Did It All Go Wrong? and raised nearly £400 each for the two charities, Rye Food Bank and Rye Community Transport.

Over 80 people turned up, despite the bad weather and the extra Covid restrictions. It was wonderful to be back on stage again and I have a lot of people to thank for making it all happen, Nicky and Geoff for allowing us to use the Community Centre, Del and Andy, for their sterling work with the lighting and sound, Pete for running the bar, Christine and Patsy from the two charities and, of course, my brilliant cast, Malcolm, Nuri and Sally – Sally, in particular, worked tirelessly in selling tickets and creating a lovely atmosphere inside the centre, with perfect decorations and fairy lights.

I’m hoping to do this show again next year in London and, if the team is available, I’d love to do a special Christmas show, back here in Rye next year. Thank you to all those who supported us, it means so much. Here’s to the next time!
