Environmental group Extinction Rebellion Rye (XR Rye) is to rerun the talk that took place in July at the George. It will focus on sharing information about the climate and ecological crisis and what we can do about it.

The talk, called “Heading for Extinction” was so popular when it originally ran that about 30 people had to be turned away.

The original talk at the George was standing room only

This time, to avoid disappointment, the talk will be ticket only. It is free to attend so either register online or pick up a ticket from Grammar School Records on the High Street. The meeting will take place on Thursday September 12 at 7pm. The venue is in central Rye and you will be informed where it is once you have booked.

Posters advertising the talk will be put up around town, but if you know someone who might be interested in attending and may not know about it, XR Rye would be grateful if you could pass the word on. They know that not everyone is online, so that is why paper tickets are available from Grammar School records.

XR Rye meets weekly. To request more information email on ryeextinctionrebellion@gmail.com.
