Rye Cricket Club Colt Luke Payton has been featured by The Cricketer Magazine for his batting exploits this season writes Martin Blincow. He has scored 1109 runs for Rye, including 4 centuries, 7 fifties, and averaging 65 runs. In one match he and his grandfather shared a 100 run partnership for Rye Third XI. Luke has now moved into Rye 2nds, and is part of the Kent CCC Coaching system.
