Its the time of year when there is a frenzy of events and a menagerie including reindeer is turning up at Jempson stores in Rye this Saturday (December 7) and Peasmarsh on Saturday 21 from 10am to 2pm.
Apart from the reindeer there should be other miniature animals on show including a donkey, a cow, a lamb and a goat. So children should now form a disorderly queue.
For other or all family members there is a cookery demonstration on Friday December 6 by chef Aldo Zilli with shows at 6pm and 8pm featuring Italian cooking at its best. Tickets are £15 from Jempsons and there may still be some left.
