Thanks to the generosity of local people, and with the benefit of substantial matched funding received under the government’s Grassroots Endowment Challenge, the Rye Fund is  able this year to offer grants totalling £6,000 in support of local voluntary organisations.

Applications are now invited from community groups in Rye and surrounding villages. Grants normally range between £250 and £1000.

Simple application forms can be downloaded from the Sussex Community Foundation website and scroll down to Rye Fund. A copy can also be obtained by emailing info@sussexgiving.org.uk or speaking to the grants team at 01273 409440   The closing date for applications is October 7.

They would also like to hear from anyone engaged in local community affairs and living in the area of benefit who might consider serving on our grant-making selection panel.  For further information about the Rye Fund or to make a donation visit our website.
